Colonial Hearth Cooking Class
Students learn the basics of hearth cooking, including stewing, baking in a beehive brick oven and roasting in a tin reflector oven. Then they feast on the things they have cooked. This class takes place at the Thomas Griswold House, 171 Boston St, Guilford. Donation $40, members $35. Prepaid reservations required. Call 203 453-2500 for information.

Guilford Walking Tour
"Dating Antique Homes"
Guilford, Connecticut boasts having the third highest concentration of antique homes in all of New England, behind Salem, MA, second and Portsmouth, NH, first. This tour will be in two sessions and will examine the various architectural features of homes dating from the mid 1600s to the mid 1920s in the Guilford area.
