Following
the Memorial Day Parade around the Green come to the Medad Stone
Tavern Museum at 197 Three Mile Course, Guilford, CT for a real
old fashioned picnic lunch presented by the Guilford Keeping
Society and sponsored by the Guilford Food Center. There will
be food, games, rides, craft demonstrations, music, animals,
and entertainment. You may bring your own picnic lunch or buy
lunch by Guilford Food Center. Call 203-453-3176 for more information.
Bring your own chairs and blankets.
Non-Guilford residents are invited
to attend. Admission is a free will donation per individual or
family.
The Scouts will do a flag
demonstration. Members of the Guilford High School Jazz Band will provide life music on the picnic grounds.Murray Newton will demonstrate Pewter Casting
and Al Kostuk will be making Kettle Corn and playing accordion.
Games all day for all ages plus a pie-eating contest with pies
donated by Bishop's Orchards.
Directions: I-95 Exit 57 US 1 Boston
Post Road.
Take US 1 North (east) past Bishops Orchards on left and past
Strawberry Hill Plaza on right. Three Mile Course is first right
after Plaza. Follow signs to parking. On the day of the event please call
